He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose G. Cordova Sr. and Thomasa Cordova; his wife Lydia B. Cordova; his close friend Irma Dobson; his sister Diane Vargas; his daughter Sandra Cordova; and his brothers, Larry Cordova, Jesse "Cowboy" Cordova, Richard Cordova, Raymond Cordova and Jimmy Cordova.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Cordova (Virginia) of Victoria, Joe Cordova of Victoria, Billy Cordova of Victoria, Richard Cordova of Victoria and Jason Cordova (Pauline) of Victoria. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Angel Lucy's Funeral Home - Main (706 E Crestwood Dr, Victoria, TX 77901). A rosary was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
