He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipa Cavazos, and Frank Cavazos, Jr.; his brother Frank T. Cavazos; his sister-in-law Adela Cavazos; his parents-in-law, Catalina and Sabas Garcia; and his brother-in-law Clemente Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Lucinda P. Garcia; his children, Anna-Melissa Cavazos, Nancy Cavazos-Wallace (Shane) and Jon-Anthony Cavazos; his grandchildren, Abigail Balli, Blake Wallace and Noah Wallace; his siblings-in-law, Mary Rivera (Raymond), Rosie Ruiz (Ray), Patsy Johnson, Cathy Vela (JD), Martha Gonzalez (Tony) and Cruz Garcia; his nephews, Frank Cavazos, Jr., James Cavazos, Johnny Ray Cavazos, Bobby Cavazos and Abe A. Suarez; and his godson Dustin John Long. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
