He was predeceased by: his parents, David Gonzales Gamez and Maria Louisa Morales Gamez; his sister Ramona Barron; his daughter Angela Gamez Adkins; and his niece Marian Kay Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Delia Huerta Gamez; his children, Belinda Barrientos (Ricky) of Victoria, Texas and John Frank Gamez, Jr. (Barbara) of Victoria, Texas; and his sisters, Rose Mary Ramirez of Mission and Anna Marie Morales of Victoria, Texas. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of South Texas.
