He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Albert Barnett and Ruby Barnett; his wife Martha Ann; and his son James Gardon Barnett. He is survived by: his son Jimmy Albert Barnett (Heide Somer Barnett) of Austin; his daughter-in-law Diann Barnett of Victoria; and his grandchildren, Cody Ryan Barnett, Brandi Nicole Barnett of Victoria and Taylor Barnett-Torabi of Austin, Texas..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (9806 Zac Lentz Pkwy, Victoria, TX 77904). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
