She was predeceased by: her parents, Baldomero Calderon and Simona Molina; her husband Alex J. Lopez, Jr.; her son Robert B. Lopez; and her brothers, Mike Calderon and Richard Casares.

She is survived by: her children, Alex J. Lopez, III, Sylvia A. Lopez, Christy Vela, Tony Gonzalez (Mary Alice) and Nora Cavazos (late Joe Cavazos, Jr.); and her siblings, Ysidoro Casares (Ramona), Mary C. Morales, Tina Lopez and Patsy Loa (Jesse).

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grace Funeral Home - Victoria (2401 Houston Hwy, Victoria, TX 77901). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Grace Funeral Home (2401 Houston Hwy, Victoria, TX 77901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (208 W River St, Victoria, TX 77901). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (8819 US-87, Victoria, TX 77904).
