He was predeceased by: his parents, Mauro Montalvo and Francisca Montalvo (Mayorga); and his siblings, Martiriano, Bernardo, Margarita, Martina, Domingo, Johnny and Rene.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Montalvo; his daughters, Petra Marie Ramos of Victoria and Angela Montalvo of Austin; and his sister Maria Montalvo. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and also by his nieces & nephews.
