She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wade and Loraine Haynes; her husband Marcellus Lewis; her sons, Marvin L. Lewis, Sr. and John E. Lewis; her siblings, Betty J. McMurray, Hermestine Runnels, Ethel E. Thompson and Joyce A. Farrow; and her son-in-law James Cook, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria Cook; and her sister Willie Ann Buckner (Carlos). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grace Funeral Home - Victoria (2401 Houston Hwy, Victoria, TX 77901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Palestine Baptist Church (608 E Convent St, Victoria, TX 77901). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Bloomington Community Cemetery (500 Katribe St, Victoria, TX 77905).
