He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Rivera and Anastacia Reyes Rivera; his daughters, Rosemary Rivera and Mary Suniga; and his siblings, Juan Rivera, Gregoria Gomez, Fortunato Rivera, Vicenta Ramos, Juanita Salinas, Valentin Rivera and Manuel Rivera, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Linda Robles, Ray Rivera and Frank Rivera, Jr. (Alexandra); and his siblings, Carmen Medrano, Guillerma Garcia, Anita Jasso and Ignacia Leyva Rivera. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
