He was predeceased by: his parents, Raul Cano and Angelita Cano; and his siblings, Hito Cano, Daniel Cano, Joseph Cano, Sally B. Cano, Anita Ortiz, Juanita Torres and Betty Alonzo.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Matthew R. Hill, Dennis Cano Jr., Devin Cano, Joshua Mireles, Noah Mireles and Brody Zarate; his wife Josephine M. Cano; his children, Veronica Chapa (Robert), Vivian Hill, Dennis Cano Sr. (Diana), AJ Mireles (Guadalupe) and Daniel Mireles (Isabel); his siblings, Mickey Mijia and Ramona Tames (Israel); and his pet Chewy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Angel Lucy's Funeral Home (706 E Crestwood Dr, Victoria, TX 77901). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (1311 E Mesquite Ln, Victoria, TX 77901).
