He was predeceased by: his parents, Paulino Lopez and Juana Medellin; his stepfather Julian Medellin; and his siblings, Teresa Tejeda, Phillip Medellin, Paul Lopez and Louis Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Olga Lopez of Victoria; his daughters, Mary Anne Bailey (Robert) of Ridge Crest, CA, Donna Waite of Victoria, April Lopez (Anthony Santarpio) of Wylie, Julie Zamora (Carlos) of Round Rock and Karen Lopez (Nathan Barfield) of Victoria; and his siblings, Mary Ybabez of Victoria, Julian Medellin, Jr. of Victoria, Hope Martinez of Victoria, Amelia Jane Lopez of Victoria, Jose Lopez of Cuero, Carmen Palomarez of Midland and Pauline Gallegos of Victoria. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
