He is survived by: his wife Frances Hernandez; his children, Mary Ann "Sugar" Gutierrez of Victoria, Benny Suniga (Sandra) of Victoria and Michael Suniga of Westhoff; and his sister Carolina Gonzales of Temple. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
