He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Meeks and Dovie Meeks; his siblings, Mary Lou Austin and Benjamin Meeks; his sister-in-law Peggy Soto; and his son Larry Meeks.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Victoria; his children, Carl Meeks, Jr. of Victoria, Patty Strieber (Bobby) of Yorktown and Peggy Schroller (Jay) of Houston; his grandchildren, Chris Meeks (Cara) of Burleson, Stacy Clark of Mesquite, Tyler Strieber of Yorktown, Maggie Naranjo (Richard) of Yorktown, Wesley Schroller of Houston and Curtis Schroller (Amber) of Houston; his great grandchildren, Emma, Mason Meeks, Annie Naranjo and Lily Schroller; his brother Hubert Meeks; and his sister-in-law Liz Meeks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
