He is survived by: his siblings, Emma Covey of Taylor, TX, Geraldine Williams (Gene) of Austin, TX and John T Penny (Sissy) of Rockdale, TX.; and his children, Valerie Crum of Hutto, TX, David C Penny (Terry) of Thorndale, TX, Joseph Penny (Laura) of Rockdale, TX, Vernon Penny (Rene) of Pampa, TX and Kimberly Pruett (Steve Pruett) of Rockdale, TX.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
