He was predeceased by: his son Theron Charles Staley (Chuck); and his parents, Theron Clarence Staley and Willie Nancy Thompson Staley. He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Allan Houston Brookshire and James Argus Connor, Jr.; his uncle Charlie Merle Staley; his aunt Fleta Gwendolyn Staley Hawk; his nephew David Allan Brookshire; his wife Janis Sue Connor Staley; his son James Christopher Staley; his sister Joy Camille Staley Brookshire; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Eleanor Connor Climes and Trudy Beth Connor Haub (Tom).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund.
