It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leatrice Dixon of Vernon, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul McGee and Berdia Tucker Fleeks; her stepmother Rosetta McGee; and her son Floyd Ray Dixon. She is survived by: her husband Timothy Dixon of Vernon, Texas; her children, Brandon Bryant (Cynthia) of Denton, Dequante Dixon of Idabel, Leon Merritt of Oklahoma City, Robert Battle of Vernon, Texas, Tabrsha Bryant of Dallas and Veree Warren of Amarilla; her siblings, Nancy McGee of Idabel, Dexter Green of Atlanta, Paul Green (Fedisha) of Dallas, Lawrence McGee of Vernon and Patrick McGee (Abbey) of Electra; her grandmother Helen Tucker of Vernon; her stepsisters, Lora and Crystal Dunbar of Idabel; her father-in-law Mack Author Dixon (Doris) of Wright City; and her close friend Kim Harris. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
