It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Elder of Vernon, Texas, born in Quanah, Texas, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Sue Lorance; and his sons, Timothy John Elder and Tommy Ray Elder. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Crystal Watkins of Vernon; and his grandsons, John Elder and Tommy Elder, Jr..

The family suggests memorials be sent to the Alzheimers Foundation.
