He is survived by: his father Joe Garland; his wife Theresa James Minton; his children, Latasha Johnson (Clint), Joshua Minton (Susan), Matthew Minton, Sean Minton and Cameron Minton (Haily); his sister Donna Minton Williams (Jay); and his grandchildren, Amy, Shelby, Kylie, Wrangler, Ellie, Bryce and Noah. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
