He was predeceased by: his significant other Marcy; his brother Early Yocum; and his niece Kaeli Yocum Ashley. He is survived by: his children, Homer Groneman (Cindy) of Oil Trough and Margarite Groneman of Alice; his brother John Yocum (Vicki) of Amarillo; and his pet Sassy.
