He was predeceased by: his mothers, Joyce Lee Kirkpatrick and Martha Wood Kirkpatrick; and his brother Jerry Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Mary Minyard Kirkpatrick of Red Springs; his daughters, Michelle Howell of Red Springs, Jana Schmitt of Red Springs and Susan Kirkpatrick of Red Springs; and his grandchildren, Kirk, Melanie Rosebalm, Logan, Lauren Thompson, Elias, Arissa Howell, Laci Howell, Zack Schmitt, Izabella Shackleford and River Howell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
