She was predeceased by: her mother Odessa Campbell Curtis; and her former husband Kenneth Lewis. She is survived by: her father James Curtis of Fruitvale; her husband Shane Akins of Fruitvale; her children, Brian Lewis (Lorie) of Alba, Melanie Lewis of Frankston, Sheena Lively of Godley, Shae Petrusky (Stan) of Canton and Brittany Akins of Chandler; and her siblings, Jimmy Ray Curtis of Grand Saline, Teresa Curtis of Fruitvale, Vicky Cole of Athens and Ginger Shehane of Conroe. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
