He was predeceased by: his former wives, Linda Ritchey and Rose Ritchey; his parents, William Claude Ritchey and Virginia Ferguson Ritchey; his siblings, Harold Ritchey, Leo Ritchey, Jack Ritchey, Sissy Ritchey and Dot Shelton; and his granddaughter Erin Sloan.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ritchey of Van; his children, Clay Ritchey of California, Kelly Tucker of Nevada and Leslie Bishop (Darrel) of Van; his stepchildren, Mark MacDonald, Eric Alexander, Donel Bartley, Terry Sloan, Richard Bartley and Tamara Swensen; his brother Jock Ritchey of Paris; his grandchildren, Kenny, Tyler, Clair, Josh, Jason, Alene, Braxton, Kara, Teresa, Gerit, Dane, Kaylee, Balin, Mckenzie, Katelyn, Logan, MacKenzie, Allison and Josh Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Emory and Evan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hilliard Funeral Home (386 N Maple St, Van, TX 75790). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
