He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Lee Vent, Sr. and Bessie Greenlee Vent; his daughter Cathy Lynn Jones; and his siblings, Elizabeth Taylor, Syble Yarborough, Austin Lee Vent, Jr. and Charles Vent.
He is survived by: his children, Kenny (Leah Vent), Joann (John Briggs), Linda Sue Smith and Kayla (Jeriamy Schumacher); and his grandchildren, Kinley, Lanie, Ally Joy, Jacob, Peyton, Zachary, Cooper, Richard, Michelle, April, David, Kenneth and Terry. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Hilliard Funeral Home (386 N Maple St, Van, TX 75790).
