It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Don Douglas (Van, Texas), born in Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Douglas and Adelene Douglas; his brother Randy Douglas; and his cousin Kenneth Durham. He is survived by: his children, Holli Benge (Craig) and Jeff Douglas (Sara); his grandchildren, Megan Hopkins, Justin Hopkins, Morgan Benge and Jace Douglas; his great grandchild Madasin Fisher; his brothers-in-law, James Gossett (Linda) and Larry Gossett (Connie); his cousin Gene Durham; and his close friends, Bill and Karen Pyle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Hospice of East Texas.
