He is survived by: his wife Vanessa; his children, William Friend (Mary) of Tyler, Anthony Friend (Clotel) of Lindale, Michael Friend (Shari) of Van and Drumita Arps (Donnie) of Tyler; and his siblings, David Friend (Josephine) of Tyler and LaQuita White of Tyler.
