Doris Virginia Meyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2022, at the age of 89, Doris Virginia Meyer of Van, Texas, born in Avon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Meyers; her daughter Christy Ashby; her parents, Clyde Gray and Lena Gray; and her siblings, Bill Gray, Rolland Gray and Leona Champion.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Meyers, Mike Meyers (Christie), Lisa Howell (Eric), Lori Robertson (Thomas) and Amy Walker (Marvin); and her son-in-law Steve Ashby. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made in her honor to help provide school supplies/books to Van Intermediate, Brownsboro Elementary, or Bel Air Elementary in Athens, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
