She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eli Rogers and Lilly May Hopkins Rogers; her daughter Jolene Ellis; and her siblings, Whitt Rogers, Lou Akin, John Rogers and Birdie Harris.
She is survived by: her daughter Charlotte Ellis; her brother Mack Rogers; her grandchildren, Christopher Hall, Tareka Robinson and Tevin Robinson; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Lukas, Sarah, Anthony and Kendrick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
