He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Russell of Dallas; his children, Tommy (April Russell), Allen (Milly Russell) and Shawnda (Mike Linger); his sister Debbie; his brother-in-law Lorenzo Munoz of California; his brother Danny Russell of New Mexico; his grandchildren, Savannah (Cody Harvey), Donovan (Dianna Russell), Mackenzie (Cole Baxter), Matthew (Rishitha Russell), Justin (Elizabeth Rivers), Alex (Rachel Linger), Nathan Linger and Kaitlynn (Mason Freeman); and his great grandchildren, Juliana, Levi, Lilly, Noah, Aiden, Carson, Kohen and Wesley.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hilliard Funeral Home (386 N Maple St, Van, TX 75790). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
