She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Rodriguez and Damacia Vasquez Rodriguez; her husband Pasqual Salazar, Jr.; and her son Pasqual Salazar III. She is survived by: her daughters, Rosie Hernandez (Felipe), Cynthia Salazar, Dora Vasquez (Ernest), Betty Jimenez (Anthony) and Irma Gamez (Frank); and her siblings, Minnie Vasquez and Rudy Rodriguez. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A rosary will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1412 12th St, Bay City, TX 77414).
