He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Workman, Sr. and Lola Gertrude Smallwood Workman (Charlotte Simons Workman); his son Rodney Clyde Workman; and his siblings, George Workman, Kenneth Workman and Nadine Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Simons Merck; his daughter Rhonda Workman Crume; his daughter-in-law Nita Workman; his stepchildren, Deborah Dennard (Crayden) and John Merck (Jeanie); and his grandchildren, Kyle Holton, Christopher Holton, Ashley Maslak (Jeff), Kelly Dennard (Eliot), Christopher Dennard (Katrina), Matthew Merck (Samantha), Emilie Nice (Conner), Jackson Merck and Megan Sarclette (Andrew). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
