He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Tharp of Van Alstyne; his children, Stephen Tharp of Bonham, Melissa Yarbrough (David) of Canton, Julie Coleman (Kirk) of Anna and Jonathan Tharp (Sarah) of Overton; his grandchildren, Madeline Thomason, Aaron Coleman, Nolan Tharp, Armani Quintanilla, Jayce Tubb, Cheyenne Tubb, Alexandria Tharp, Harrison Tharp, Nathan Coleman and Aston Quintanilla; and his brother Leon Tharp of Balch Springs.
The family requests all memorials be made to the Missions Program at Calvary Baptist Church in Anna.
