He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Montgomery and Dorothy Montgomery; and his significant other Lois Montgomery. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Montgomery (Christie) of Van Alstyne and Les Montgomery (Lara) of Callisburg; his grandchildren, Tess Montgomery of Eugene, OR., Rebekah Montgomery of Dallas, Nate Montgomery of Richardson and Megan Montgomery of Dallas; and his brothers, Larry Montgomery (Connie) of Leonard and Tommy Montgomery of Dallas. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel (637 W Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, TX 75495). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alexander Cemetery (9960 Co Rd 288, Anna, TX 75409).
