She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Harris and Ella Harris of Van Alstyne; and her sisters-in-law, Dovie Harris of Dallas, Garfield Harris of Van Alstyne, Bailey Harris, Vera Harris of Van Alstyne, Troy Harris, Margaret Harris of Dallas, Louie Harris, Pauline Harris of Sherman, Rube Harris of Hurst and Talbert Harris of Van Alstyne.
She is survived by: her spouse Robert Yeury Strickland; and her siblings, Virginia McNeese (Charles McNeese) of Richardson, Texas and Lindy Harris (Pauline Harris) of Denton, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
No flowers, please, but donations to the Van Alstyne Cemetery or the First Baptist Church of Van Alstyne, would be appreciated.
