He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Leroy Martin and Ocie Mae Watson; his wife Mary Frances Montgomery; and his siblings, Leroy Kirk Martin and Rose Marie Martin.
He is survived by: his brother Maurice Ray Martin (Kathy) of McKinney; his sons, Jim Martin (Susan) of Anna, Bobby Wayne Smith and Gerald Dee Martin; his granddaughter Laura Smith Otwell; and his great grandchild Dakota Martin. He is also survived by grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids.
