He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hearn Sr. and Nellie May Hearn; and his wife Judith Deen Hearn. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa H. Kallal; his son-in-law Charles V. Kallal; his daughter Katharine H. Journee (Purnell Journee); his granddaughters, Katharine K. Gustafson (Ryan Gustafson), Elizabeth K. Anglin, Rachel Glessner and Cameron Journee; his great grandchild Charles C. Kallal; his brother John Hearn (Barbara Hearn); his nephew Christopher Hearn; and his brother-in-law Pete Deen (Rosalie Deen).
