He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hayes and Mamie Miller Hayes; and his daughter Diana Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Hayes; his sister Jean Hamby; his children, Annette McCurdy (Bill), Duane Hayes (Susan) and Darin Hayes; and his grandchildren, Jeff Turner, Justin Turner (Misty), John Turner (Tabatha), Abbey Echols (Matthew), Ryan Hayes (Jessica), Kelly Hayes, Houston Hayes and Heather Hayes. He is also survived by 8 Great Grand Children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
