He was predeceased by: his parents, John Garland and Edna Wood Garland; and his daughter Diane Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Garland of Sherman, TX; his sister Francis Bush of Whitewright, TX; his sons, Paul (Kathy Garland), Mike (Elaine Turner), Mark (Kelly Garland), Brian (Ramona Tucker) and Timothy (Holly Garland); and his son-in-law Roger Simpson of Sebastopol, MS. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
