She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Petersen and Martin Petersen; and her brother David Petersen. She is survived by: her husband Richard K. Gannon; her children, Cathy Chapman (John), Richard Gannon (Sarah) and Jill Field (Bryan); her grandson Richard Gannon; and her children, Luke Chapman, Jakob Field, Emily Gannon, Joshua Chapman, Garrett Field, Allison Gannon and Thomas Gannon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either of two charities near and dear to Diane: Southeastern Guide Dogs which trains guide dogs for veterans or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
