She was predeceased by: her father Vernon Edmonds; her brothers-in-law, Willie James and Larry Henderson; and her uncle Sam Edmonds. She is survived by: her mother Ida Edmonds of Van Alstyne; her husband Robert Lewis Sr.; her sister Janice James; and her sons, Robert Lewis, Jr. (Stephanie) of Van Alstyne, Daniel Lewis (Nicole) of Van Alstyne and James Lewis (Lacey) of Van Alstyne.
