He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Hewlett and Onita F. Hewlett (Evans); and his brother Dennis Hewlett. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jerri" Matthews; his daughters, Misty Clark (Guy) of Tom Bean and Jennifer Webster of Dalhart; his stepdaughter Sandy Montgomery of Gordenville; his sons, Michael Hewlett of Dalhart and Timothy Hewlett of Valley View; and his brothers, Barry Hewlett of Dallas and Scott Hewlett of Prosper. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
