He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Gamble and Gwendolyn Gamble (Johnson); his sister Daphne; his former wife Agnes Zegar; and his daughter Karen.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Watson Gamble of Harlingen, Texas; his daughters, Cathy Mezmar (Michael) of Harlingen, Texas and Carol Leeper (Jay) of Columbia; his son-in-law Dean Shellenberger of Alpine, California; and his cousin Audrey of Hants, England. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
