We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2024, at the age of 80, Bonnie Smith of Valley View, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Bonnie's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; her brother John; and her parents, Frank Smith Bowman, Jr. and Vivian Louise Bowman (Taylor). She is survived by: her son Bo (Claudia) of Valley View; her sister Susan Badgio (Jim); her niece Rachel Geidel of Melbourne, FL; and her close friend Shirley Hatfield of Gainesville.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (411 E California St, Gainesville, TX 76240).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bonnie's memory to Noah's Ark Animal Shelter, 2501 N. Weaver St., Gainesville, TX 76240.
