He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Dareing and Hazel Dareing; his wife Dorothy Dareing; his daughter Patti Brunet; and his brother Joe Dareing.

He is survived by: his son Bruce Dareing of Navasota; and his brother Don Dareing. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
