He is survived by: his wife Carole Avant; his son Kerry Avant (Christi); and his grandchildren, Sunshine Avant, Corey Chabert, Joshua Chabert (LeAnn), Tiffany Mote (Jon), Greatgrands, Traysen, Teagin, Madison, Daden, Paityn, Natalee, Ryder and Leah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
