With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sadie Lillard of Valley Mills, Texas, born in Riesel, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sadie Lillard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amy Jane and Jim Lasseter; and her significant other Bud Lillard. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Lillard (Mary) of Rockwall, Texas, Debbie Marable (Paul) of Valley Mills and Sonny Lillard (Gracile) of Rockdale; her grandchildren, Jenny Terrell (Kelly), John Martin, Brandon Marable, Carey Cox (Jon), Blake Marable (Amy), Derek Lillard (Sabrina), Josh Lillard, Lindy Lillard, Noah Lillard (Lindsey), Cameron Remaley (Julie) and Erica Remaley; and also Harley Gordon. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Because of the pandemic, the immediate family only will be in attendance at her funeral on Sunday, July 26, at OakCrest Funeral Home in Waco.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Valley Mills, Texas or Beacon Hill Baptist Church of Waco.
