He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Smith and Bessie Smith; and his sister Doris Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Smith; his daughters, Charlotte Elrod (Kerrie) and Stacy Trammell (Eddie); and his siblings, Don Smith (Dot), Aubury Smith, June Powers and Jeaneen Terrell.
