She was predeceased by: her husband Merle Shoesmith; her grandson Marshall Shoesmith; her parents, William Senger Schange and Elizabeth Mack Schange; and her siblings, Louis Schange, Helen Kucera and Gertrude King (Dottie).

She is survived by: her sons, Michael D. Shoesmith (Ruby) of Morrilton, AR, Mark E. Shoesmith (Tracy) of Valley Mills, TX. and Matthew V. Shoesmith (Jamie Jenson) of McGregor, TX.; her grandchildren, Bryan Shoesmith (Kristi), Michelle Jones (Matt), Eric Shoesmith (Ashley) and Railey Shoesmith (Jordan Brown); her stepgranddaughter Taylor Whitaker Henderson; her great grandchildren, Dagan Shoesmith, Savannah Shoesmith, Mason Jones, Maddox Jones, Caseton Shoesmith, Bryce Shoesmith and Branson Brown; and her siblings, Evalena Schange Young and William J. Schange (Pete).
