He is survived by: his wife Gail Jayne (Keller); his daughter Corinne Bero (Josh); his granddaughters, Emmerson and Olivia Bero; his sisters, Carol Nance and Sandy Pflug; and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Bauman (Denny). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
