With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Sleet Dorman Jr. (Valley Mills, Texas), who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Sleet Dorman, Sr. and Lulie Fay Crump Dorman; his wife Dolores Tooke; his daughter Carol Jean Dorman Jenkins; and his grandson Gene Paul Langston.
He is survived by: his sister Ellen; his friends, Bill, Winnie Turnage and Bobbie Sanders; his children, Linda June Brown of Valley Mills and Jim Dugan Dorman (Verna) of Valley Mills; and his grandchildren, Johnna Jenkins, Lacie Dorman of Valley Mills, Jack Langston of Valley Mills, Daniel Dible (Melody) of Bastrop and Jonathan Dorman Dible of Valley Mills. He is also survived by 4 great grand daughters and 1 great grandson; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be to either Goodall Witcher Nursing Home or Sunset Hospice both of Clifton, Texas.
