We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2018, at the age of 93, Dorothy Downing (Valley Mills, Texas), born in Waco, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julious Vernon Winningham and Mildred Lurean Oliver; her husband Clovis Paul Downing, Jr.; her brothers, Doyle Winningham, Bobby C. Winningham and Elbert E. Winningham; and her siblings-in-law, Bobby Bates, Joseph Cendrowski and Virginia Winningham.
She is survived by: her children, Clova Gibson (Ronald Gibson), Randall Paul Downing (Glenda) and Rodney Dale Downing (Jean); her grandchildren, Melet Gibson, Christie Fisher (Scott), Brady Gibson (Vanessa), Shane Downing (Kandi), Heather Beth Downing, Jordan Downing (Dawn), Micah Downing (Angela), Lauren Anderson (Chris) and Whitney Downing; and her sisters, Wanda Gordon (William Gordon) of Clifton, Bee Cendrowski of Waco and Barbara Bates of Conway. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
