He was predeceased by: his parents, Madison Perry Smith and Ina Mae Poston Smith; and his brothers, Tex Smith and Jon David Smith. He is survived by: his brother Thomas Poston Smith; his nieces and nephews, Russell Smith, Kevin Smith and Melanie Fram; his friend Dave Harris; and his pet Max.
